I am less enthusiastic when someone asks me a question that is easily googled (ie, how do I take a screen shot?). In any case, the "let me google this for you" is probably better used in anonymous situations like internet forums, rather than with actual friends or colleagues. It’s definitely a good link if you appreciate sarcasm. If not, maybe not so much.
