It's definitely a good link if you appreciate sarcasm. If not, maybe not so much.

Speaking generally, I love it when people ask me a question that requires some expertise (ie, what camera should I buy?). I am less enthusiastic when someone asks me a question that is easily googled (ie, how do I take a screen shot?).

In any case, the "let me google this for you" is probably better used in anonymous situations like internet forums, rather than with actual friends or colleagues.

@Steven - Agreed. Although it would be useful if you were trying to be funny or if you were so annoyed you just didn't care and wanted to send a strong "you're a dumbass" message.

I thought of you when I discovered this. You're always sending me links to things when I ask you questions. :)

I discovered it from <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/brentdanley/3096354498/comment72157611110057682/" rel="nofollow">a comment</a> on one of my Flickr pictures.

Cute. I could imagine *wanting* to use that, but I don't think it's ever really necessary to be that rude to someone. Even if they are a FREAKIN MORON!
