While perusing movies on Netflix today I discovered, and watched, Cashback. It’s a wonderful film that now ranks somewhere in my top five movies.

It’s about an artist who is so distraught by the breakup with his girlfriend that he cannot sleep. To earn a bit of money he trades this extra time for “cashback” at a local grocery store. He “freezes” time in his mind so he can discover the beauty around him. The cinematography, writing and acting are incredible. The themes are important and thought-provoking. Five out of five. Give it a go.
