NASA Tweetup at STS-135 Launch

If this is your first visit to my blog, welcome. I will be attending the NASA Tweetup for the final launch of an American Space Shuttle, Atlantis’ STS-135 mission. NASA has a full schedule of activities planned for us on July 7, including a tour of the Vehicle Assembly Building, retraction of the Rotating Service Structure at Launch Pad 39A, and several speakers. The launch is scheduled for July 8 at 11:26. I will be posting here and on Twitter about what I am doing and what I am learning, and I encourage you to experience this historic event with me through these social media channels.

Please leave comments and ask lots of questions. My objective is to get people excited about science generally, and to provoke in them a renewed sense of wonder.
