Jenna’s Violin Recital

Yesterday Jenna (11) had another violin recital. She played in her ensemble, “String Theory,” as well as a duet and solo. She nailed it, as you can tell by her expression at the end of each piece. I love listening to her play.

Her private teacher, Susan LaVerriere, is awesome!

In addition to private lessons, Jenna practiced weekly with an ensemble, String Theory. They played several pieces at the recital, including this one titled Spring from The Four Seasons by Vivaldi.

Her stand partner is Aidan McGrath-Conwell. Jenna’s solo part comes at 1:57 in the video below.

Jenna’s solo performance was the final student piece of the recital. She nailed it. It’s Elves’ Dance by Bohm.

I love listening to Jenna play the violin. She does so with a lot of confidence and determination.

I’m very proud, too! I started about your age with violin then went to piano and finally decided upon the flute — which is my passion. Keep it going!!!
